dunno what cd the other guys were listening to,but this is fucking awesome!makes your ears bleed right from the outset, which is always good.not your run of the mill black/grind/death.the intensity laid down on track here is ridiculous.well worth a listen.

2004-10-29A bit of a shock...
I'm just listening to latest metal news I have to review for a magazine and the first product from Seasons of Mist I put my hands on was Tsjuder. What a shit! Just the same old stupid clichees, no originality, no value, things done a thousand times before. But then Anaal Nathrakh - well, that's something else. I read all these things about black metal , but to me it's rather basically death-grindcore with a death-metal touch. That's the regular thing. From here on, the surprises start. First on "The Oblivion Gene" - do I hear melody on this ultrabrutal stuff? As a matter of fact, yes, and the thing gets bigger on "Do Not Speak" where I get to hear some clean vocals (!) turning towards Rob Halford (or Chuck Shuldiner singing "Painkiller") at the end of the verse. Man, this music is maybe the one of the most brutal things I've ever heard, but at the same time it has variety, it has melody and it is really original. The guitar-player really knows his job, playing some brutal solos, somehow resemblant to Kerry King's work. And the vocals - ultrabrutal death-metal, than clean, than high-pitched death, a touch of black, a touch of Mayhem, a touch of Obituary. Well that's what I call a wide palette. Really good, impressing, songs are catchy (yes, yes, cathchy, although ultrabrutal), well written and expressive. I'd like to read an interview with these guys. Because I suppose the whole lyrical concept with the blasphemous things and so on is just parodic, black irony and nothing to be taken too seriously. It's what I'd expect from the intelligent people who wrote this album. Tsjuder and other posers, listen and learn! P. Slayer, Romania
